Objectives
The purpose of the Association is to promote a
closer working relationship between its members and Industrial Firms, Traffic
Organizations and all other Services connected with the development and
expedition of foreign freight, both export and import, in the State of Ohio and
adjacent areas.

Code of Ethics
The officers, partners and associates of each member firm of
this Association are firmly pledged to the following principles in the conduct
of their business.

In the conduct of his profession, a member shall
exercise great care to avoid misrepresentation and shall be guided by the principles
of honesty and fair dealing.

A member shall be diligent in acquainting himself with
conditions affecting foreign commerce and keep his principles, shippers,
consignees and clients informed thereof.

All proposals shall be handled accurately and expeditiously
as possible by the members of the Association.

Members shall always render their services to their
principals, clients, shippers and consignees as economically and efficiently
as circumstances permit.

A member shall always assist principals, clients, shippers
and consignees in reaching and performing an agreement, always rendering his
best efforts and using best judgment on their behalf.

Each member agrees to inculcate his organization with the
principles set forth herein, for it is recognized that only by their
observation will the standards of personal and professional conduct be
advanced, and the practice of foreign trade service organizations continue
to inspire confidence as an essential and effective part of the
international trade.
